MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

The slate tabletop is cleaned with a damp cloth with common detergent.

Shuold the slate become scratched, you can grind the tiles with fine sandpaper, and afterwards wipe it off using a damp cloth.

If the slate become stained by oil or fat, try to remove it, but the stains wil normally vanish after some weeks. You can also treat the entire tabletop with slate oil, which will permanently give a darker and more uniform look.

The frame should simply be wiped off with a damp cloth, or with WD40 or a similar oil product.
